Parent FAQ – School Activity Clubs
(Gymnastics • Cheerleading • Aerobic Fitness • Dance)
How do I book a place for my child?
All bookings are made directly through our website:
You will receive a flyer and booking link from your child’s school each term. Places are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
Important Booking Requirements
Please ensure you fully and accurately complete the school gymnastics registration form at the time of booking.
We require all contact details, medical information, and collection instructions.
Failure to complete this form in full may result in your child not being able to participate or their place being revoked.
Booking is required each term and places are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend booking early to secure your child’s space.
Can my child try a class before committing?
Unfortunately, due to high demand, we are unable to offer trial sessions.
What should my child wear and bring?
Children should arrive in PE kit or sports-appropriate clothing, with their hair tied back and no jewellery.
-
Gymnastics: Bare feet
-
Dance/Cheer: Bare feet or plimsolls
-
Aerobics: Trainers or gym shoes
A drink should be brought, but no snacks are required as snack breaks are not provided during sessions.
For before-school sessions at Tweseldown Infants:
Please ensure your child wears their school t-shirt and jumper on the top half, and sports bottoms on the lower half. This allows more time for activity before school, with only a quick change needed afterwards.
🚫 No jeans, skirts, or dresses please.
Where are the sessions held?
Sessions take place on school premises, usually in the school hall, before or after the school day. Your school will confirm the exact location and entry/exit points.

What will my child learn?
Each session is designed to be fun, engaging, and physically rewarding. Over the term, your child will work on:
-
Gymnastics: Balance, coordination, flexibility, strength, and core skills
-
Cheerleading: Team spirit, chants, motions, jumps, and stunts
-
Aerobics: Rhythm, endurance, routines, and fitness
-
Dance: Creativity, choreography, movement, and expression
Is the club suitable for beginners?
Absolutely! Sessions are inclusive and tailored to suit a range of abilities. Our coaches support each child’s individual development.
Can my child progress further?
Yes! If your child enjoys their sessions and wants to advance their skills, they can join our mainstream club based in Fleet – Hart Gymnastics Club.
We offer both recreational and competitive pathways with the same supportive coaches and ethos.
